Azerbaijan joined the World Bank in 1992. Since then, World Bank commitments to the country have reached US$ 1,057 million for 37 projects. Currently, 18 projects are under implementation. The focus of the World Bank’s program is on bringing economic well-being to the people of Azerbaijan.
