The World Bank is working with other development partners, including the European Commission, to support FYR Macedonia’s efforts to join the EU. It is supporting FYR Macedonia’s European aspirations by facilitating changes that will bring its economic policies closer to those of the European Union. The World Bank is helping the government ensure that trade and transport are more efficient so that Macedonian goods can get to EU markets.
