In Turkey, World Bank programs are expanding access to education for all children and helping poor families keep children in school. A World Bank-supported program has helped increase school enrollment by 1.2 million in recent years. More girls are going to school than ever before. Over 1 million poor children have received financial support on the condition they attend school.
