The World Bank is helping improve Turkey’s health system In Turkey, World Bank-financed projects are helping to reform the health system, improving the efficiency and effectiveness, and improving access to all citizens to health agencies through supporting universal health insurance. In addition, the Bank is supporting efforts in both veterinary and medical health to prevent and contain possible pandemics such as Avian Flu.
